Information [ENG] Bruno Pantone was born in Matera, Basilicata (South Italy), on 16 December 1976. He moves in Tuscany when ends his studies and here he actively collaborates with the "Gothica.it" music-web-magazine. These are important years during which he engages, for the first time, with professional photography. In addition to deal with the editorial stuff (reviews, articles and interviews) and the organisational aspect (public relations and promoting), it's for Gothica.it that he carries out his first reportages about conerts, music-parties and festivals. Quickly he understands that He gets more satisfaction and inspiration with art photography and the years spent in contact with the people, and often with extreme reality, led him to search the expressions and the forms of our time between faces and human beings. Fashinated by the artistic shades of the everyday life, he search the unusual in what is often ignored and underestimated.
Through the conceptual photography, he chases closely to his visions and leaves us appreciate his interpretation of the world, while it is with the portraiture that he tells us the human being with all his characteristic defects and merits that make him unique.
Bruno's style is visceral, he prefers natural lights and simple environments: his purpose is to give attention to the subjects t describe them in the best way. He experiences the use of the infrared filter on portraits developing a recognizable and unmistakable mark and creating peaceful and often surreal atmospheres.
